The Toolbox

Five focus areas, designed for everyday practice.

Each section gathers an overview, professional guidance, activities, resources, videos and country links โ€” ready to use in your VET context.

How to use the Toolbox

A step-by-step guide.

Whether you teach in a VET setting or are a learner exploring on your own, here's a simple way to get the most out of the Toolbox.

  1. 01

    Choose a focus area

Open the Toolbox and pick one of the five sections that matches what your learners are facing right now โ€” stress, low mood, isolation, life pressure or trauma.

  2. 02

    Read the professional guidance

Start with 'Topic overview' and 'For Professionals' to ground yourself in trauma-aware language and practical recommendations before working with the group.

  3. 03

    Pick an activity to run

Browse 'Activities and exercises' โ€” each one has a short duration and clear steps. Choose one that fits your session length and the energy of the room.

  4. 04

    Download the PDF resources

Print or share the worksheets from the 'Resources' block so learners have something tangible to take home and revisit between sessions.

  5. 05

    Use the calming clips

Play the short videos as a class warm-up, transition or closing moment. They work well on a projector or shared screen.

  6. 06

    Adapt for your country

Open the 'By Country' tab to find local hotlines and services in Sweden, Italy or Romania, and share the ones relevant to your learners.
